Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services is approved by several countries to perform maintenance, repair and overhauls of aircraft including engines and components. As an authorized Bombardier facility LBAS has access to OEM STCs and is an integral part part of Lufthansa Technik's Part 21 organisation for Bombardier business jets.
Berlin-Schönefeld airport is also the location of the future airport Berlin-Brandenburg International BBI, the only airport in Germany’s capital region.
